The First of Many

This update is merely to say that we've done it. We've actually done it. We've filled one whole order - the first of many. This massive package holds the culmination of over 3 years of hard work, and it has already been dropped off to be delivered to one of our most gracious patrons - the backer who bought the Grand Diorama. Boxes within boxes along with a fair amount of packing filler will hopefully ensure everything arrives in great condition, with "fragile" stickers for safe measure - can't be too careful!
We're already packing more orders, and we'll have several more go out throughout next week. We'll be packing as fast as we humanly can while taking the appropriate time and care to ensure your orders arrives safely.
There seems to be a never-ending list of last-minute things I need to complete before everything works like clockwork, but it's finally coming together.
Please expect another update by Monday at the latest. I've got a few final surprises to offer as we wrap this thing up.
Thank you as always. Brick Mini wouldn't be possible without you!

Manufacturing is Finished
– Tue, May 30, 2023 at 09:36:45 PM
I'm excited to announce that manufacturing is finally concluded. I can't tell you how big of a relief this is.
While we expected this to be finished mid-May, full-scale production revealed a few problems in the molds that weren't initially apparent on short runs. A couple parts were showing a higher amount of shrinkage and/or voids, which can occur when too much material needs to cool too quickly. As a result, a few very minor adjustments needed to be made to help reduce that shrinkage. Once those issues were resolved, full-speed production was able to resume. These little adjustments meant that a couple of the molds needed to be worked on a bit longer.
Our factory notified us during the Memorial Day weekend that they were in the process of packing up the bulk material and that they would be delivering the goods to their freight forwarder at the beginning of this week. We don't have any concrete delivery dates at this time, but our last estimate of an end-of-July delivery is looking plausible. As we get more information as to the whereabouts of the packages and timelines, we'll continue to post updates.
